TREASURER’S REPORT: Gary reported that the treasury currently has $948.19.

OLD BUSINESS: Ron Growel made a motion to formally approve Rick Moyer as a permanent voting Wanderers member and to remove his obligation to pay any dues. Rick was the founder of the club, and has given a lot of his time, effort and finances to promote the Wanderers. (This has been discussed in the past, but has not been put forth for vote.) Don Presten seconded the motion and it was unanimously approved.

VOTING:

CHANGES TO THE BY-LAWS: Mike Calderone motioned that the vote be taken on the by-laws as posted to the web site; Don Presten seconded the motion. Affirmative votes = 49 (20 present and 29 absentee).
Negative = 12 (10 present and 2 absentee). Motion carried and the changes to the by-laws are now effective.

Motion to approve the above slate of officers was put forth by Aaron Adkison, seconded by several members, and put to a vote. Affirmative = 33 (present); Negative = 0.

CHRISTMAS IN JULY: All plans are proceeding satisfactorily, and donations have already been made. It was suggested that anyone intending to deliver flyers coordinate their efforts to prevent duplication.

3000-MILES: Two more Wanderers have achieved their goal of 3000 club miles and were awarded their gold pins and certificates. Congratulations to Rebecca Hall and Leon Smeiska!!

RIDES:
Blessing of the Bikes June 21
Cooks Corners July 19

ODDS & ENDS: Anyone who is sponsoring a new member needs to pick up an application form from an officer and give it to their prospect personally. Please be sure that the sponsor’s name is on the application. Purchasing large patches was again discussed. Members were asked to e-mail Carole Helstrom if they were interested in ordering. Carole will keep track of those orders. Approximately 10 members indicated by show of hands that they wanted large patches. Kent Saxton presented Rod Fleming with a Wanderers Compass and Thermometer. The compass has no direction indicators, and the thermometer seems to register a constant “riding”temperature, regardless of surroundings. Very appropriate, Kent.

Don Presten motioned for adjournment; P.A. Davis seconded. The meeting adjourned at 10:29 AM
