OLD BUSINESS:
Lakeside Rodeo Parade. Mike Randazzo wanted to make sure everyone knew how much he appreciated our participation in the parade, and was sure we wouldn’t want to do it again since it was 100 degrees. As Russ said, “if it wasn’t so hot it would have been cool!” We received a certificate of appreciate from the Lakeside Chamber of Commerce.

SAFETY REPORT
Safety Meeting. John Del Santo will attend a meeting May 21-23 of the CHP, MSF, DMV, and OTS. Attendees will discuss the rising number of motorcycle fatalities. Ken offered to go, but John is already attending and will report back on the results of the meeting.
Safety Question. When was the last time you checked the air pressure in your tires? Ken noted there is a safety check list on our website, and that these items should be checked on frequently. It was noted that valve stem air pressure caps are not very reliable.
Ride Protocol. David Peterson reviewed Ride Captain guidelines, including following times, not leaving gaps, and hand signals. Members are encouraged to check our website for up-to-date ride protocol.
