Our Little Buddies
(Pillion Pals)

Tera Salo

"When I first bought my '93 VLX 600 (when I grow up, I wanna be an 80cc
wanna-be harley), and drove up with my 'loud' pipes, my sister walked
up to it and said (non-moto person, very astute of her, I thought...) "That's not a HOG, that's a piglet!" and it stuck! then we found Piglet dressed up like a sheriff, and Ramona Piglet rides!

Michael MacDonell

"I am a life-long muppet fan. Kermit was always my favorite. Something about his outlook on life. Everybody needs a bear. Kermit is my bear."

Darlene MacDonell

Darlene's bear came about because (1) she needed something to carry stuff in, and (2) everybody needs a bear. She knew she had found hers when she turned up a bear backpack. Stuff that goes into the bear (water, cookies, muffins, etc.) acquires a bear prefix: bear-water, bear-muffin, and so on.

John Q. Lawrence

Gadget's the nickname, bolting useful (and decorative) "stuff" to my bike is the game. Most motorcyclists pick up nicknames based on some personality quirk or mishap. Mine was bestowed upon me by members of the Delphi Vulcan forum after they noted some of the extra bells, whistles, lights and, yes, "gadgets" added to the Nomad If you own a Vulcan check out "Gadget's Fixit Page".

Scott Helstrom

If there's a story with this one we don't know what it is but it rides!

Jerry (Pop-Pop) Zimmerman

"The bear is our grandson Alex, when I'm riding, he's with me in spirit!!"

Thomas (Doc) Cassidy

Dudley was presented to Doc by one of our members who noticed the resemblance as soon as this new member joined the Club. "Doc" is a former police officer and is currently a man of the cloth, doing right by anyone and everyone. (what, you thought it was the red jacket?)

Al Sessler

We know there's a story here someplace and when Al decides to tell it we'll pass it along. Fer sure!!!
